Frequently Asked Questions

Thank you for your interest in the American Dream Initiative Solutions Summit in Memphis, Tennessee. If you have a question that is not answered in the below FAQs, please contact summit@AEI.org.

The Solutions Summit with open with a reception and dinner for summit speakers and participants on Wednesday, June 4. The reception will begin at 5:15 p.m., followed by a dinner program starting at 6:15 p.m and will be hosted at Beale Street Landing. Programming will continue the following day at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2024 at The Peabody Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee.

Beale Street Landing is located at 251 Riverside Drive, Memphis, TN 38103. Check-in for the opening reception will begin at 5:15 p.m. CT on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 and will be followed our opening conversation and dinner.

Riverside Drive will be closed to all vehicular traffic, which means drop-offs directly in front of the venue will not be possible. With this in mind, please plan accordingly and contact us as soon as possible with any questions. If you’re using a ride share service, we recommend the corner of Beale Street and Riverside Drive as a drop-off point.

Parking: Free parking is available at Wagner Lot located at 171 Wagner Pl, Memphis, TN 38103

The Peabody Memphis is located at 149 Union Ave, Memphis, TN 38103. Check-in will begin at 8:00 a.m. CT on Thursday, June 5, 2025.

Parking: Parking at The Peabody Memphis provides valet parking for $35*/night and self-parking for $24*/night in the Peabody Parking Garage. The parking entrance is located at 118 South Second Street. If you choose self-parking, you may conveniently drop your bags with a Valet Parking Attendant prior to parking your car.

*Parking prices do not include taxes

There is no registration fee for the summit.

The deadline to register for the summit is Tuesday, May 20, 2025. Please note that we will be unable to accommodate walk-ins.

This is an invitation-only gathering and space is limited, but we will do our best to accommodate your guest for the programming. If you would like to nominate another member of your organization to attend on your behalf, or you would like to bring a guest who you think would benefit from participating, please contact our conference team at summit@aei.org.

Summit participants will include state and local policymakers and staff members working in legislative bodies and government agencies, nonprofit and community leaders, research experts, business and education leaders, chambers of commerce staff, and more. Please note this is a private event and AEI reserves the right to approve all summit registrations.

If you hold public office, you are responsible for ensuring your attendance at this summit is in compliance with any ethics guidelines or requirements that affect you. If you need any information from us to ensure you are in compliance, please email our conference team at summit@aei.org as soon as possible.

The recommended attire for the summit is business casual.
